Enough Thanksgiving movies to fill your appetite for destruction. Gobble some of these up this week to get in the spirit.

Blood Freak (1972)

Ready for some B-rated turkey shenanigans? Blood freak is about a man who gets turned into a mutant turkey vampire after eating some roasted turkey that was experimented on by hillbilly scientists. Don’t worry he’s only satisfied by drug addicts blood. I guess he likes secondhand drugs? I don’t know but I gotta watch it.

Blood Rage (1987)

A Thanksgiving slasher? Yes please with extra gravy! Campy sex crazed teens with enough family drama to be an episode of Maury.

 

Adams Family Values (1993)

For something a little more family friendly enjoy one of horror’s favorite families. Thanksgiving parades and pilgrim school plays wrapped in the Addams family cookiness.

ThanXgiving (2006)

A bunch of film students that somehow didn’t see how Blair witch ended decide to go film in the woods running into a campsite with a family of cannibals. There’s nothing like cooking together with your family.

Thankskilling (2008)

Takes a whole new meaning to “Mom, That’s a killer turkey!”. This movie follows a killer turkey with a lot of comedy. The tagline is “Gobble Gobble Motherfu%#@R!” and that’s enough to get me to watch.

Pilgrim (2019)

When a woman gets too into a reenacting an authentic first thanksgiving as a dinner party but they take the method acting too far and it gets bloody.

Hostile Takeover (1988)

3 coworkers get taken hostage while working thanksgiving weekend. For a modern version of this just go to Walmart on Black Friday.

Home Sweet Home (1981)

An escaped mental patient crashes the Bradley’s Thanksgiving celebration and it seems like the uninvited are upset. He didn’t want to go…he just wanted to be invited ya know?

The Last Thanksgiving (2020)

How dare you work on thanksgiving?!? Be warned of that old wives tale that keeping your restaurant open on thanksgiving invites the cannibals.

Terrifier 2 (2022)

After all this talk about turkey, I’m ready for some mashed potatoes. Luckily for us Art will even be a sweetheart and feed them to us.
