Halloween 2600

According to TV tropes Halloween was a controversial 1983 Atari 2600 game based off the movie. Many retailers didn’t want to shelve it due to its violent and bloody nature. Watching the gameplay footage I was shocked at the amount of decapitation happening with bloody squirting from the neck. The characters were never explicitly mentioned so you’re the babysitter who is running from a killer with a knife. You have to hover over the kids to get them to follow you in this weird spinning dance. You have to round up the kids into the farthest rooms on the left or right so “they’re safe”. Yeah let’s trap them then leave for more. She also can pick up a knitting needle or knife. I can’t tell with the graphics to Stab the killer. There’s also this awesome Chiptune version of the Halloween theme. I would love to play it but the $800 price point of sellers online is a little steep for me.
