The poster in Laurie’s bedroom has a deeper meaning

We touched upon this in this week’s podcast but there’s actually a poster in Laurie’s room of a painter James Ensor (1860-1949). He is a Belgian artist famous for paintings of people wearing haunting masks such as in The Intrigue (1890) pictured below. This just is another layer of depth that Carpenter and Hill added to the story that I just love.
